Mobile hook-up kit
I've recently sold one on ebay, it was a 3 socket type similar to the one in your picture. I got it because at the time my van wasn't wired up for mains supply. I found it to be OK but rather bulky. I think initially they were made for tent/caravan dwellers, mine had 2 clips that fastened onto the t...

Mine doesn't flicker a lot, but it does tick...I'd think I'd gone deaf if it didn't.

Clutch pipe
Hello Denise, I think you may be a little short on your pipe length, the only accurate way would be for you to get underneath and measure it. If you can get 6mm pipe why not go the other (simpler) route and repair the middle section? You can get the 6mm pipe at an agricultural dealer along with the ...

If you are just enlarging the stud/bolt holes slightly then the drill will centre itself in the original holes.

Clutch pipe
Hello, before you take off your old pipe check and see if it is necessary to renew the whole of it, most times the ends are perfectly OK, it's only the centre section or less that need renewing. I've just done mine using 1/4" copper pipe ( there's no great pressure involved when operating the c...

Tinware
Keith!
When you find out if you should have one and where it goes let me know...I haven't got one either.
Mind you neither did the scrap ones in our local (43 miles away) scrappy have them either.
Thanks

Fitting seats out of a rover
The passenger seat has the original swivel fitted but the drivers seat never had such a device in the first place. Now I'm not exactly 'slim Jim' but after getting used to it, I can get out of the drivers seat and into the interior with a bit of a squeeze under the big steering wheel... and I've got...

Fitting seats out of a rover
I've got Rover 620 seats in my van. They are higher than the bog standard VW but give you a much better view, and I can assure you they are extremely comfortable with their ajustable bits and bobs. If you are tempted to fit a smaller steering wheel on a non P/S van then the steering will be rather h...
