Yes I have the late set up cast LCA
I had the new lower ball joints pressed in by my local garage , I took the steering knuckles (not hubs sorry ) off the van and down to their workshop

So just for an update , all front bushes and ball joints have been replaced and I’m about to start rebuilding it all . So the camber is going to have to be reset I would say , I marked the wishbone washers for a guide ( I’m fitting Brickwerks high lift kit aswell) . Can I adjust the camber myself ...

Im going to have to replace bothe cab steps over the winter . Recommendations for best quality body panels please.
As in a supplier who supplies panels that fit properly without lots of fettling and adjusting etc etc ..

Ok so quick update , I had some 12mm threaded bar in the garage . Went and got a 2” pipe nipple from plumbers merchants and a few other bits , nuts and washers etc . I’ve got a vice etc , I heated up the bush in cup of hot water for 10mins , held the TCA in the vice , put the threaded bar right thro...

the rubber bushes do look a bit short when not fitted but if you measure the centre steel tube and compare with the old ones you'll see that is right For the front LCA the reducing tube tool is 3053, Brickie sells a cheap copy for £6 which is a bargain, in Bentley 40.9 it shows use with a press, th...

rubber bushes have the steel bushes moulded integral, if you cut them you will probably find the arms migrate even more than they normally do and then they will be rubbing on the chassis. What’s the best method to remove these ? If they are the kind with the large hex at the back end you will need a 27mm open ended spanner, but there's a bit more to it. They are very slightly bent , threads are shot where the sleeve goes , maybe I will get away with it if the new sleeve goes in the exact same place . Clean the threads up with a die nut and stick with them then ?
