1.9 AAZ engine

Post by dcworm57 »

I’ve recently bought a Syncro , it’s got 1.9 AAZ TD engine in it . The engine has had a full rebuild by a German firm in the last 12 months I have all the invoices to show the work done . I’m considering some engine upgrades to increase power and longevity. I’ve looked in the forums and most of the information is 10years old at least (obvs). There is mention of intercooler , oil cooler , Giles pump upgrade / boost pin upgrade, turbo upgrade etc etc. There seems to be a lot of negative knock on affects form some of these , ultimately it’s reliability that I want . Which upgrades are worth the expense and hassle , any advice , ideas appreciated.

cheers
