Hi, just installed a 123 Ignition switch dizzy on my type 4 cu 2.0…. All works great, am currently running it on a modern Bosch blue coil.
Just wondered what other coils people are running this on? Also, with/without ballast resistor?

Weber Idf floats - chasing my tail!!
Just wondered if anyone else has had this issue. If not, it may help someone in the future. Was setting up a new distributor the other day, so left the ignition on and fuel pump running. Then notice fuel poring into the main chamber on one carb (engine not running). After checking float heights a mi...

Re: Gearbox check over
Thanks. Can’t believe no one here seems to have used him… looks like plenty of boxes on his website. I installed a new clutch about 2 years ago…. Wish I’d have installed a new seal on the gearbox side but didn’t have the time (off camping and didn’t have gearbox oil at the time)….school boy error. D...

Probably about 2-3000 per year. I think it’s more piece of mind and hopefullly one Less thing to worry about. Early or late stub axle
Looking to change the front stub axle, as the threads on the centre shaft have gone, but little confused after reading a few forum posts on early and lates.
My vans from 1981 but I think I have a late stub axle, as there’s no threads in calliper mounting holes?!? Is this normal?
I have ATE Brakes.
