Thanks for the feedback guys, wish it was that easy kev, I suppose on the positive side it didn't cause any harm. Anyway just about to start the 3week trip to Italy so the saving will buy a few more gallons -thanks

Can anyone help, I have been runnimg my 1.9DG now for about 16years, all this time I have been adding castrol addative to the unleaded fuel. Someone has suggested that I should not have to add this since the engine will be OK without, can anyone advise should I use addative or not since its now quit...

Hi Guys
Thanks for all the help, I went home last night and managed to complete the task in 20mins without any damage so its on to the MOT monday and hopefully Spain the week after

Hi Ian thanks fo rreply I am a little confussed though the plastic pipe runs through a bracket on the bulkhead and runs the top side of the heating pipes so the tank has to be almost in postion before they will reach? Yes I got the pipes but the heater cables had been tye wrapped to the old pipes so...

Hi Rob Thanks for the info, mine arrived today. We are awayin the van next week after that I will look to fitting them, hope its a lot warmer. Good that you don't have to drop the tank, I replaced mine already the tank fitting isn't the issue its those blasted rubber grommets, What a nightmare!!! Dave
