Re: Rear Trailing Arm 2 piece Poly bush
Lots of comments on the internet about the pros and cons of polyurethane bushes but very few from people who have actually fitted them especially to T3 / T25s (good to see someone else on this thread who has fitted them). Apparently the steering rack bushes are supposed to make a big improvement but...

Re: Rear Trailing Arm 2 piece Poly bush
I've fitted split polybushes with no issues. Cheaper than powerflex. I've only done a few hundred miles on them but I can say the ride is good and they were easy to fit.

Re: powerflex trailing arm bushes
Thanks Aiden, I've ordered the 2 piece bushes. I'll report back on ride quality when they've been fitted.

Re: powerflex trailing arm bushes
Thanks for all the comments - they pretty much echo what I'e been thinking. Tempted to go with 2 piece bushes, the Polybush ones are 2 piece but I will probably bottle out and go with originals.

powerflex trailing arm bushes
I’m changing the trailing arm bushes and see that T3/T25 and T4 inner bushes are inter-changeable. Looking at Powerflex bushes the T25 bushes are single piece but the inner T4 bushes are split and would therefore be far easier to fit. Anyone have any experience of fitting the T4 bushes to a T25? I’m...

Great post - looking forward to seeing how you get on. I've feeling I'll be doing something similar at some point.
Hope it goes well and doesn't cost too much

Re: RM122 Alternative Fridge
Thanks for the comments - the fridge probably can be fixed - I'll try turning it upside down! I'll admit I was using it as an excuse to swap it out for something with a 240 volt option - current fridge is 12v / gas. Compressor fridge combined with solar panels and a decent leisure battery could be a...

RM122 Alternative Fridge
My Electrolux RM122 has packed up and I'm looking for a replacement. Any suggestions? I don't want to cut the van - new Dometic model that replaces the Electrolux looks good but the flue is on the other side and installation guide says external top and bottom vents are required. Maybe a compressor f...

Re: Swapping early DG for late DG
Thanks folks - looks of good information. So from what you're all saying I'm assuming the core engines are interchangeable. Its cooling system (water pump, thermostat housing etc) that is different and if using a late engine will need transferring. Current engine is running fine but nothing lasts fo...

Swapping early DG for late DG
Hi Folks,
looking for a 1.9 dg to rebuild so I have a replacement ready for when my current engine expires. Van is 1984 so current engine is an early DG. How easy is it to fit a late DG or should I hold out for an early one?
Thanks
Bob

Re: Leisure batteries pooped
Check the batteries are bing charged. Put a volt meter across the terminals with the engine running. Should read at least 13.5 volts if they are charging.
