So to either eliminate this or to confirm it, would it be safe to say that if I bypass the voltage stabaliser momenteraly, i should get a reading on the temp and fuel gauge???

Both fuel and temp gauge have got at the same time, so I,m jumping to the conclusion that its not the tank sender. Is this a common fault or any likely cause. The earth from the dash console is ok as everything else is working. Help needed the fuel tank seal on the filler pipe is also bust so I cant...
