Re: Best insurance company for Modified T25
Hello everyone, I’ve recently had a Subaru conversion to a EJ20 N/A and my insurance is due shortly :( I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for insurance companies? I’m currently with Adrian flux (recommended on here). Has anyone had good experiences with other companies. Thanks Hi, if...

Re: Best insurance company for Modified T25
Evening I insure my modified and subaru converted T25 with Classic Line Insurance on an agreed value policy. Price was cheaper than anywhere else I could find for the level of cover and they also offer a discount for 80-90 members. Well worth a call. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk Hey, good t...

Re: Stalling on a hill
The carb has only just been rebuilt so hoping it's not that! Will have a look at that and the pump though. When I put my foot down on the flat it runs like a dream! Has it only just started since the carb was re-built? Yeah it's just started doing it since the rebuild. It's going back into the gara...

Re: Stalling on a hill
I think I'd be looking at the carb and/or fuel pump. Check there's enough fuel getting to the float chamber & also check the pump is working correctly. How does it run when you put your foot down on the flat? The carb has only just been rebuilt so hoping it's not that! Will have a look at that ...

Stalling on a hill
Anyone know why my engine might be stalling on hills and not wanting to start up again?! When it finally does start up again it splutters and splurts until it gets to the top and then is ok again once on flat.

Re: New Thermostat
In my experience it's pretty rare for them to stay open... the spring on there keeps em closed.. Hence why when they fail the engine overheats... Could be faulty I guess, but just a thought... I did test it last year before I put it in and it seemed to work OK. Do these things degrade or break over...

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, that would be worth a check. Maybe it's my OCD that I would like the ...

I've seen a post on Facebook about the same issue and people seemed to say that anywhere between the two white blocks is ok so I think I will leave it as it is.

Use Brickwerks for parts not Just Krappers.
I've had a few things from JK and they haven't been so bad. I'll try brickworks for the thermo though and see how we get on!
Cheers

New Thermostat
Hi, I think my thermostat is staying open as the engine never gets up to temp unless stuck in traffic! On motorway journeys the needle goes about halfway between the first white block and the red light at the top. It's a JK thermostat that I have in it at the moment - any suggestions for one that ac...

Re: Breaking in a reconditioned engine
Thanks for all your suggestions. I picked it up from the garage after work last night! All running beautifully and is so quiet now, I can hardly hear it running! The garage said to drive it normally but take it back after 1000 miles and they'll do an oil change and do further adjustments if necessar...
