Hi I am trying to take out drivers seat out but near side bolts in front of battery are just turning,
Are these suppost to be into captive nuts or can you get to nuts underneath some how.

HI
I have to fold them in every time I take camper in and out of garage so sand may be too aggressive.
Will try if rubber does not work.

Thanks Metalmick Got it apart ok and can see how it works. Might try putting rubber washer between cup and socket to provide extra friction but as you said it would not get tension if seized . I see other members have sanded ball and added grease with sand to increase grip but this seems a bit messy...

Thanks for the reply. Got the old floppy mirror problem. Going to take it apart and try sandwiching thin rubber between ball and socket to see if this works.
Tried soaking it in a solution of red bull and Viagra but it was too stiff

Hi How do you get the swivel base of the wing mirror.
Taken the m6 nut off so does it just knock apart by hitting the stud.
