Hi I think i have seen someone put up a guide on a distributor and vacuum advance rebuild on a DG but I can't seem to find it?
or anyone know of a good gide to rebuild my distributor amd fit my new vacuum advance

Hello I'm having problem with sealing my carburettor to the Internet manifold I have bought the new 6mm plastic gasket but was wondering if I can use gasket sealant/maker aswell ? Or is this a bad decision

It's comming off the rad return pipe so it's not an atual pipe on its own I had a quick look in the manual and it looks like it might be a pipe that goes to an auto gearbox fluid cooler but I don't have an auto so there may have been a possible pipe change at some point or long ago maybe the van had...

Thanks for the advice I thought it may be common as have seen a few pictures of them with pitting
So it maybe best not to get the head skimmed although the skimming will be free of a mate with a machine shop
I'll try get some pictures up of the pitting over the weekend
