Re: Fridges
I have to agree that a garage testing a fridge doesn't really make sense. I would almost guarantee that it's working. Best bet is to read the wiki and get stuck in there yourself. There's not really v much to go wrong on them that can't be fixed. Okay great so where first to look? Something that I'...

Re: Fridges
I bet it is working. It's just not been left on for long enough to tell (2+hours and on the mains) The garage said they tested it, corrected a wiring issue and tested that was working and then plugged it into the mains, but the fridge did not register the charge. According to the garage. Unfortunat...

Re: Fridges
Havent tested with gas, the camper was in for its MOT so got the guys to look at it, and they've re-done the wiring but said its definitely the fridge that has now gone. I've read a few mixed reviews with this model of fridge that they only work off gas, but I'm not sure. I'm happy to go with the ga...

Fridges
Currently in my T25 my Fridge is an Electrolux 212B. But I have had the wiring repaired as it wasn't working but it still is not working therefore I'm thinking the fridge is broke. Any further thoughts? In terms of new fridges does anyone have any thoughts as to good ones / where to pick one up / ne...

Re: New Viking roof canvas
Interested to know if anyone else has fitted their own canvas to a super king viking roof?
How hard is it? Do you have to take the roof off?

Re: Drive Shaft
Ended up just getting a tow truck involved 3 tow trucks to make it home - didn't have the tools required to do the job. Have asked a garage to take a look....will keep you updated on the cost. Pleased to hear what I expected that its just general wear and tear and hopefully shouldnt have affected an...

Drive Shaft
Hi, Driving up a steep hill on a fine bank holiday trip in Wales. Change gear - slight bang and no forward drive! Looks like drive shaft has come away from coupling. See picture below. It's currently on a garage forecourt as I don't have the tools required etc. What do you expect the price to be, an...

Re: Zig Unit Help
Thanks Marlin Owner. Yeah it doesnt get cold. I tried it on both 12V and 240V neither seemed to get it cold. But tried various variations cant be sure I had them at the right times. I was also slightly confused as to how the dial further right numbered 0-6 had relevance, assumed that was related to ...

Re: Zig Unit Help
Further to the previous post, see below a picture of my fridge if anyone could help, even following the Zig unit instructions I couldn't work out how to make it work. Without checking the wiring etc. Also have the two fuse switches just below my back bench, not sure if these have any relation. Any c...

Re: Zig Unit Help
Can you post a picture of your fridge including the controls. That would help. The unit was originally designed for a cara van and for charging the battery whilst the towing. The 12v switch panel must be in the cara van battery mode and the other switched on. The red light underneath should then li...

Zig Unit Help
Hi, Trying to work out my Zig Unit, really unsure of what does what, relatively new to this. Can anyone confirm what the switches are? Slightly confused around how main battery charges leisure and which switch needs to be flicked. Also not 100% sure if my fridge works, or if something needs to be sw...

Re: Vw T25 windows
Window camper.jpg Window Trim.jpg Here are the two window seals. Hard to tell from the image but one longer than the other. When bending the corner edge to match the old one, it still remains about 1cm too long. Is the due to metal trim? I haven't removed that as yet, but dont see the need if the o...

Re: Battery checks [flat battery]
Was parked up in a field site at the weekend with a few other campers (friends), in the morning moved my car about 20m, started fine no issue. Went to start it 10 minutes later flat battery, completely flat. Jump started it and it took a decent amount of time to come back to life. Then worked fine. ...
