I didn't say 'pooh'.. Very impressive

I think I have it fixed:-). Just took a spin and it's running great. Bit the bullet, pulled the original carb apart, lots of gasket cleaner, full ultrasonic clean, replaced a suspect hose plus all the main gaskets and bobs your uncle. It's ticking over lovely and driving better than I can ever remem...

I'm going to take a right turn. Currently cleaning the orig carb that only had an intermittent problem with not idling. Will put that back in and see what happens.

Ran it from cold (in the shed) this morning for five minutes. Choke seems to work fine. Revs seemed to remain HIGH and constant from start to turn off (5 minutes). Thanks guys, hopefully less one problem now. Replaced both inlet manifold gaskets and she is reving no more. Before the new gasket, it started fine and then 'built up' to a heavy rev. She is still loosing coolant when sitting but that's the next job. Seems to be dripping from the offside rocket cove...
