Right guys hopeing some one on here can help i have a 1.6 ct T 25 and on a trip down to wales the dizzy packed up so the garaged put on a new dizzy not the same instead off a twin vac they changed it to a single vac as you cannot get the twin vacs any more my question is he timed it 32 degrees befor...

ok mate cheers people are sying 900 rpm is alright for it to idle at better fast than slow.

well went back to the carb and cleaned the base put new gasket on and changed all the vacum pipes for new ones starts no probs and ticks over great a wee bit fast may be brought it down as much as i could with the idle screw but did not want to touch the little screw next to it should i and would th...

had a look and yes some one has used selant on the base new gasket me thinks well i will try that anyway, and yes i was adjusting the big screw.cheers for the help will get back to you.

i see what you are saying but when the van stalls say at the lights i can start it up again straight away am looking at doing all the vacum pipes as i found one or two a bit perished ,the other thing i found when i tryed to increase the idle with the idle screw it realy didint do much at all .

dont think its the ignaction as she starts up alright

what is the best way to set up carb on t 25 1.6 mine wont idle runs great and idles for first 50,60 mile then just wont idle after that tryed ajusting idle but the screw dont seem to do anything pos. this is petrol air cooled

anybody know of a good tune up garage in the FIFE area van no idleing
