Defiantly has a high pressure oil switch, and if I take the connector and ground it on spade next to distribiter red thingy the buzzer is silent. Im sure that its either the switch needs replacing or just needs cleaning up as dirty. But because I cant get to clean it without working my way in there ...

so does two oil switched mean a newer engine?
Also It must have been modified years ago because the pump seal had gone and looked fairly old which is why I had to replace it

And there is second switch because it is winding me up with buzzer at the moment, have just got a new one of them of just kampers I need to fit.
Shame to change it after all the effort last month to fit new pump!

Just checked and yes plastic housing with red yellow wire going in to rear. Well I have the other type of water pump handy already... I didn't send it back. And there is thermostat in the metal housing, and presumably the plastic housing.

Where would the plastic housing be?
there is one switch under engine and one switch below pump that sets buzzer off when wire is not on it

Thanks for reply, it is a early model metal housing at rear of vehicle. There is a sender on left side of housing with no wire and none hanging round near by. there is a brown wire that goes down below water pump to oil buzzer pressure switchy thingy ( that has a lose connection im trying to sort......
