Re: Oil pressure switch woes!

Re: Oil pressure switch woes!
Had a good poke about today-wiring to the switch seems ok but cleaned all the connections any how-alarm still went off! Disconnected the switch at the switch-still no better-thinking that it must be either the wrong switch or a duff? If I earth the wire to the engine block should that stop the alarm...

Re: Oil pressure switch woes!
Hmm-theres a thought-it was all ok before it went in though & all theyve changed is the switch-on the plus side however, the oil leak is fixed! Wish it was always sunny in Runny! I take mine to MLG in Kingsley-have used them for years-very honest and don't go looking for work-I've found them ver...

Oil pressure switch woes!
Wondering if any has come across anything similar? My van developed an annoying oil leak at the back of the engine-took it in to my local garage-turned out to be the high pressure oil switch. Garage fitted a new one as well as a sparkly new ss exhaust system-after 3 days of soaking/ heating etc-all ...

Leaking side windows
Hi folks-sure this is nothing new-with the recent wet weather it has become apparent that both rear side windows are leaking on my autohomes conversion! The seals look in good nick but from the inside there are ripples in the corners where they meet the glass-hard to see where the water is getting i...

Re: gas strutts for a bike rack
I guess so-think standard will be fine going on advice provided-they are carbon framed and pretty light-around 7.5kg each so nothing too heavy. The other consideration is that at the moment my wife complains about the boot dropping back down and hitting her on the head as the strutts are shut. If I ...

gas strutts for a bike rack
The gas strutts on my rear door are on the way out and need replacing-at some point I intend to use a bike rack-will I need stiffer strutts to counter the weight of the bikes- if so, where is a good place to get them from? Have seen some on tbe bay listed as 800nm heavy duty-just wondering if anyone...

Re: blown dash LEDs
Thanks for that-went back for another look. I'd taken a spare fuse grom the top of the fuse board above the relays to replace the one i fried. Turns out they arent spare fuses-put a new one in and hey presto! Was quite confusing as in the haynes it says fuse 16 is the panel lights! Oddly enough next...

blown dash LEDs
Hi folks-just wondering if anyone has any experience of these things? Fitted dash LEDs all round a few weeks back-all working well and a big improvement on the standard bulbs. Yesterday i fitted a new 12v cigarette lighter/ outlet socket. Through my own laziness i did this sithout disconnecting the ...
