Re: Table Storage
I have my table as a cupboard door when not in use in my DIY build. Figure I'll never be using the table when driving so works well.

Re: Syncropendence BIG thank you.....
Thanks from us too. Another great event.
I'll try to upload my video over the next few days including Lloydy knocking seven bells out of his Landy (did he make it home OK?) and me running away from Jason.
Look forward to seeing the drone footage.

Re: Summer Lights at Syncropendence
We'll bring along cold food for the buffet and a table.
I can't promise to bake fantastic cakes I'm afraid, but will have plenty of cash and coppers with us.
See you Friday.

Re: Syncro JX to AFN mTDi swap
Hi.
From memory, I just mounted the Landy pump using the front fixings and with the rear Landy bracket on then offered up and marked the AFN rear bracket. Nothing fancy and just cut with an angle grinder once marked.
I hope that makes sense.
Good luck
Nick

Re: Aftermarket tachometer recommendations for AAZ?
I bought one of these adapters at the classic car show last year which allows you to run any tacho from a diesel alternator W wire. Guy who makes them is ultra helpful. Not got round to fitting it yet, still on the to do list https://www.spiyda.com/magento/index.php/smiths-rvi-rvc-conversion-externa...

Re: Help with safe wheels swap - have kids
Going back to your original question I think all 3 options would be safe, it's then just a matter of choice. Just go for big brand tyres and avoid remoulds if safety is your no.1 concern. This is a good site for comparing sizes : https://tiresize.com/comparison/" onclick="window.open(this....

Re: Syncro JX to AFN mTDi swap
Thanks for the reminder and warning. I did have a standard alternator pulley and remember it was on my to do list to sort the tensioner wobble. Ordered a clutched pulley and fitted it tonight. You can see the difference in the video below :D http://youtu.be/Q0_6K3B2SGQ" onclick="window.ope...

Re: Syncro JX to AFN mTDi swap
Hi Nick, Sorry I missed your earlier message. Just saw your pm which prompted this response. I'm pretty sure my alternator is clutched. Can't quite remember. I fitted the one off the Golf. Not noticed the bolt working loose, but thanks for the prompt. I better check before driving again. I fitted a ...
