Spoke to gasure today and he said stick with the solex as there is too much vacuum with the webber and delorto carbs

Yes that is my problem to as i have go the gasure lpg on my van. I will phone the tomarrow and let you know. Got the chance of some 34ict webbers bolt straight on. Straight of a cu engine too

In need of advice what route to take now with the engine. Ive rang engine shops and they want over £2000 for a new engine. Bit steep i thought but hey thats life. Looking at around £400 for parts. Just got my bus back from the garage and its terminal bless her. Some reason shes got all uptight. Any way been told the rings have gone as she is chucking oil out of the exhaust. what parts would i need for the rebuild and how much and where can i get good quility parts. Think sorted fuel problem a leaking hose. Now though wont run on lpg anyone able to advise or no anyone local to Scunthorpe who knows about lpg conversions

I have just bought a type 25 2 litre Aircooled and it doesnt run well when cold. It has a lpg conversion by gas sure on it as well. I have noticed tho that the fuel filter on the right hand side carb is not full and fuel is only trickling in. Please help this is a sharp learning curve for me as mech...
