cheers I am moving house next week then I am going to give it a whirl, will let you know how it goes

I have seen on another forum that I need to change the oil pump out of my 16d to the 19d 1y does anyone know if this is needed as I can't find anything about this on here I hope its not the case

does anyone know if the starter motor from a 1y 19d n/a engine will fit a 16d n/a engine , the 1y is in a seat cordoba 1995

got it sorted today loose connection in fuse box now the starter wont kick in tried hittting with hammer and also starting with clutch depressed still nothing, its never ending, I only need it to move the van as I am doing an engine change in about two weeks from 16 d to 19d 1y engine, I was wonderi...

tried a new relay still the same, I was wondering if it had something to do with the temperature sender switch just above as this signals how long the glow plugs should stay on for, or am I barking up the wrong tree

I have a problem with the glow plug light flashing continuosly, also the large relay in the engine compartment is clicking as well, if I take the power supply lead off the first plug and put my tester on it the light stays on as normal and the relay stays on for normal amount of time, but as soon as...

I am wanting to swap my 16d to a 1y 19d could anyone let me know what parts I have to change over from my 16d engine to the 1y engine, also if there is any mods required ie exhaust or engine mounts, p.s. anyone tell me what a spigot bearing is as i keep seeing this in the forums, thanks

thanks for the info, the engine is a 1 y engine I have the whole car, do you know if the gearbox which is 5 speed will fit straight in if so are there any modifications needed

I have a 1983 16 d caravelle left hand drive with a 4 speed box, will the engine from a seat cordoba 1995 fit into my t25, its a 1.9d non turbo with a five speed box, will it go straight in or will i need to do some modifications please help my van is a slow as a snail
