escutcheon,seal and spacer

New sliding door handle does not have the bits with it(escutcheon, seal and spacer) I expect I can match up the escutcheon and seal but any idea how I can find out the thickness of the spacer or is it just trial and error?

Thanks

Hi,Thanks for replies. We've settled for Portsmouth-Cherbourg with Brittany Ferries.Expensive but I don't want the extra driving or overnight crossing this time.
For future referenceI found a great deal with Condor,Ports-Cherbourg for£109.return. but last crossing was last sunday!

Brittany-campsites-ferries

Salut ! Off to Brittany in a few days, mystic land of Arthur and Merlin.
Anyone know good campsites, near Carnac would be good for a start.
Cheap ferries? We want to go from Portsmouth to Caen or Cherbourg.
Thanks,
