Re: Fitting rocker covers
Right! I got some new covers from JK, and new gaskets. I stuck the gasket to the cover with a little bit of hermetite red to stop them from slipping down. The new rocker covers were a much more snug fit, highlighting how bent, distorted and loose the old ones had become. The clips were quite hard to...

Re: Fitting rocker covers
The clips are still hard to get on...I need to use a little tool to lever them on. However the rocker covers themselves are a little distorted around the edges in places. I think I'll get new covers and gaskets and try again...I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the advise!

Re: removing fan hub on T25 2l Aircooled to replace oil seal
I'm not sure; Ive dropped mine out, but I needed to replace the big seal at the front end too, so I had to. I imagine it would be possible but very very fiddly.

removing fan hub on T25 2l Aircooled to replace oil seal
I'm in the process of replacing most of the oil seals on my T25 1981 air cooled 2.0l. I have got a certain distance towards accessing the small crank shaft oil seal, but have got stuck at the point pictured on the link below http://flic.kr/p/dArw42 basically, i don't know how to get the fan hub off ...
