Thanks Kev. Had a real result, actually; guy who breaks campers near me had a lovely bumper and side pad from a 1990 T25. I'm all sorted for £150.

1990 T25 Autosleeper front bumper
Hi folks, An elderly gent drove in to the front near-side corner of my van yesterday: much damage to the front bumper and the side panel under the door. I've had a quick look online and seen that VW Heritage and Just Kampers only sell the metal bumpers. My van, however, has the moulded (fibreglass?)...

Re: Temp Gauge Red Light
FWIW, the flashing red light of doom is a constant irritation on my van: levels are fine, temp gauge reader sits at noon, but light has a mind of its own...

Quick update. Bought the part Mark suggested and swapped out the injector. Now drives like a dream.

Re: Coolant Temperature needle and light
Also worth mentioning (see Wiki) that there are a number of reasons what the red light of doom may be flashing. I've had this problem on and off for years, and am convinced more and more it's a PCB problem rather than anything else...

1989 2.1L Fuel Injector needed
Folks, My 1989 2.1 Autosleeper has been running really badly for the past few weeks. Had the timing set-up properly and it was better, but still not right. We've just discovered that one of the actually fuel injectors has, at some time in the past, been swapped out with another type. As such, the fi...

Re: Has my van lost its 'ooomph'
Ill-fitting hose between fuel filter and fuel pump. Must have been slowly getting worse until Sunday, when I could smell petrol and see a tiny bit on the outside of the filter.
Drive to work this morning and 'ooomph' is well and truly back!

Hi,
Yes, the light was on when the indicator green light was on (not flashing). All seems to be back to normal now...

Re: Mystery light!
@bigherb,
Did as you suggested. When the hazard switch was in the 'half on-half off' position, there was a funny noise in the fuse box. Flicked it a few times and the mystery light has gone off and the indicators are working again.
Thanks for that.

Re: Mystery light!
Thanks guys! Yes, it has a tow bar with electrics. (Never used it, though...)
Will try the rocking thing tomorrow and let you know.
Sheesh, there's never a dull moment with these, is there?

Mystery light!
IMG_0304.jpg Hi all, Can anyone tell me what this light is (see photo)? I've had the van over ten years and it's only ever come on and flashed when the hazards are on. This morning it's decided to be on all the time, and neither the indicators nor the hazards work. (The green light in the dash come...
