Re: Where is this damn oil coming from....
I did change the filter when I changed the oil - If it should be 4.3, I've still got a tad too much in then

Where is this damn oil coming from....
I replaced my 1.6TD with the 1.9AAZ some time ago and I've had constant battles with leaking oil. Initially I thought it was the rocker cover gasket, which I've changed but the drips continue. After reading around, I realised that that when the engine was changed, the company that did it did not rec...

AAZ 1.9TD Alternator belt
I had an AAZ 1.9TD engine put into my T25 some time ago and I don't think the alternator belt has ever been right. The three pullies don't seem to be in alignment and you can see some of the plastic casing has started to wear from the belt rubbing. I dont have power steering so the extra pullies are...

Rocker cover still leaking
Hi,
I've replaced the gasket on my 1.9 TD rocker cover which was leaking oil with little improvement. Are there any different sorts of gaskets I could try which may help or other tips?
Cheers

Glaze buster
I had a new TD engine put into my T25 a few years ago - brand new block etc and used a 10/40 mineral oil as recommended for the first 1000 miles to allow bedding in. However the van is now using loads of oil which I suspect may be due to bore glazing. Has anyone had any experience in using glaze bus...

Re: charging a 100A battery
I've got a lidl charger at home in Malvern, but I'm with the battery at Lands End!
The local Lidl aren't currently stocking them - I checked yesterday

charging a 100A battery
I'm currently away and I've managed to flatten my 100Ah leisure battery. How much driving would typically be required to fully recharge it?
Thanks

Awning with roof bars
Hi,
I've just bought a Kyham awning to fit to my T25, but I've got roof bars, so I'm not sure which will be the best way to attach it.
How does everyone else with roof bars do it??
Cheers

O'leary Swivel/Rotating plates
Hi,
Has anyone bought one of the swivel seat plates from O'leary with the attached runners for their T25? They're not cheap, so any comments good/bad/ease of fitting/cheaper shops etc would be appreciated?
Cheers

Biggest Amp battery that will fit?
I've been looking for the biggest battery that I can fit behind the drivers seat in my T25 1.9TD for use as a leisure battery. I'm not bothered about it being a strict 'leisure' branded battery (I don't want to get into that debate!) - after some Googling I found a Delphi 75A with a size of 278x175x...

How to replace the ignition switch?
Hi,
I'm planning on replacing the ignition switch on my T25 tonight as its a bit dodgy.
Is this pretty straightforward or do I need to start removing the steering wheel (what size socket do I need for that?) etc before I can pop the new one in?
Cheers

Thanks Yes the diagram does help and confirms what I thought... The wire from Term 86 going to the cable which runs from my alternator to the charge light (Which I believe is the solid blue wire behind my glove box). does this help... Split charge -feed from alternator warning light or ignition
Hi I'm just about to wire up a split charge unit in my T25 TD and connect my relay to the blue wire from my alternator (behind the fuse box), when I noticed this on the wiki: "pick up the relay feed from the ignition instead of the warning light" So where exactly does this refer to? Any he...

Bluebird bed
I fitted one of these about 2 months ago into my T25 without any problems. I decided to just buy the frame from Bluebird and bought some good ply from the timber yard. It took me about a day to buy all the wood, fit the seat + build the section for over the engine - most of that time was down at the...
