Just one more observation which I shared with a calor gas supplier when they were filling up my LPG tank - it seems the major petrol suppliers always move the price of LPG up in line with petrol so it is around 50% of the price per litre. Calor Gas outlets always seem to undercut them by at least 4p...

Sounds like someone has been messing with the electrics - the door switches connect the wire to ground (-ve) .. if there is a shortcut, then the lamp will still light up. I suggest you carefully remove the door switches and look for any shortcut that might cause them to light. When you say the alarm...

I would start checking the earths! Headlights are earthed to earth point 10 - next to relays. (See Haynes Manual page 12.34) If you have a multimeter, then check voltage at the headlamp too... you'll need to pop the grille off and unscrew the headlamp mounting plate to get access. Good luck VW lewis

Well you will have a nice new windscreen - make sure you ask for one with a green sun filter strip across the top... I did ... and it is very useful!

Yes - I had a quick translation of the web page and most of these are around 7tonnes unladen and up to 13 tonnes laden. Phew .. got a legal reason to tell my lad NO WAY! Pity though .. My local LPG inspector won't pass a T25 if the filler is placed by the number plate or close to it. Others will - be prepared for a complete farce! Mine is neatly hidden behind the rear numberplate; access is easy like topping up the oil - how on earth could they object to that!? They must be on an...

Took at the most 5 mins to fit and now get that white light on the road at night. Mind you, I had to readjust lights afterwards. First time I put them on in my street in the dark, every cat for miles scattered! Any chance of putting a pic up here for us to see? .. and the cats on the run  Che...

I kept mine inside - close to the fusebox as I didn't change the wires - just cleaned up the connectors and intercepted the wires from the fusebox. I did run a new +ve fused feed from the battery though. I also fitted Philips X-treme bulbs. Very pleased with the outcome :D .. see my garage photos - ...
