Re: Disappearing water

Did a trip to blackpool yesterday (100 mile round trip) and not a drop used. But I've noticed eh level does seem to be fluctuating quite a lot with engine warm and cold.

I've had the clocks out today and had a right good fondle about (now have a shredded hand) and can't feel any wet below the windscreen/wiper spindles/or Ariel, if I reach round I can get to the back of the door hinges and it's all wet in there, there's a rubber that runs down the pillar in front of ...

I replaced the rubber earlier in the year but didn't use any sealant so I got a windscreen company to do it with the proper goop

Re: Leak

Definitely water and only when it rains, it's fine at the moment so I'm going to re seal the Ariel blank and a quick check of windscreen wiper grommets, it's bloody annoying!

Leak

I have a leak at the front of my van, I've had the windscreen removed and refitted by professionals the metal was all in good condition with no holes or rust. The water runs down internally to the left of the clutch pedal (lhd) and puddles under the carpet, are there any known areas? Also merry Chri...

Re: Seam rust prevention q

When there's salt on the roads I smear wax on the seams and leave it on and wash under the van every week, make sure you get all the crud off the back of the wheel arches. There's no visible rust in mine yet!
