Did a trip to blackpool yesterday (100 mile round trip) and not a drop used. But I've noticed eh level does seem to be fluctuating quite a lot with engine warm and cold.

Yes, the one behind the reg flap, the header tank inside is full (the one on the left hand side of engine bay)

Disappearing water
My 2.1mv has started using water top up tank is empty ant seem to see where it's going. I topped it up the other day and it's completely empty again today. Thanks in advance

Mine has a puddle in the left foot well too, I've had the windscreen re fitted with a new rubber by a pro, no rust or rot behind and it still leaks, I took the clocks out last time it rained and felt all round and I'm fairly siure it's not the screen, aeriel bung or wipers, my bus has the rubber noi...

I've had the clocks out today and had a right good fondle about (now have a shredded hand) and can't feel any wet below the windscreen/wiper spindles/or Ariel, if I reach round I can get to the back of the door hinges and it's all wet in there, there's a rubber that runs down the pillar in front of ...

I replaced the rubber earlier in the year but didn't use any sealant so I got a windscreen company to do it with the proper goop

Definitely water and only when it rains, it's fine at the moment so I'm going to re seal the Ariel blank and a quick check of windscreen wiper grommets, it's bloody annoying!

I have a leak at the front of my van, I've had the windscreen removed and refitted by professionals the metal was all in good condition with no holes or rust. The water runs down internally to the left of the clutch pedal (lhd) and puddles under the carpet, are there any known areas? Also merry Chri...

Put some super bright led bulbs in the brake lights as mi tinted rear lenses make everything a bit dull, one of them has started to flash on and off (but dull) anyone else ehad this problem? Maybe it's picking up a small current from somewhere. Cheers

When there's salt on the roads I smear wax on the seams and leave it on and wash under the van every week, make sure you get all the crud off the back of the wheel arches. There's no visible rust in mine yet!

Turns out vw's only work with Bosch sensors, spent ages cutting the old one out and managed to get it fitted, works like a dream now I'm ordering a spare one as they're obsolete now spoke to a guy at www.lambdapower.co.uk really helpful and nice bloke. The moral of the story is don't fit pattern jun...

Martin, I found the tiniest of leaks in the joint next to the lamda, remade the joint and hey presto! Perfect running. Cheers for the advice I'll hunt you down at one of the shows to say thanks!!

Been playing again and got the exhaust airtight, still the same I've noticed that the AFM is making a buzzing/humming noise even after the engine stalls is this normal?
