Thanks guys, I do want to keep the current bus as iv spent a fair bit of time getting it just so inside and with bodywork and respray. what mpg do ppl get from GTI conversions?
Calculating savings from converting 2.0l AC to a GTI. Based on 10,000 miles/year running 80% LPG my current 20mpg is £1860/yr. If I can get 35 mpg then that's £1058 saving $802/YR!

Hi guys, anyone got experience with reproduction cylinder heads? Got an Aircooled 2.0l CU thats been on LPG for 10,000 miles and iv burnt out the valves, one valve seat came off and knackered the head. I am making a lazy T out of steel and extending the flue 6 inches using flexible stainless pipe (fridge moved). I know this isnt recommended! but since im doing it any suggestions? I read/ heard something, somewhere about safety certificates being required for gas stoves / fridges in motorhomes travelling in germany.. Is this something thats required in any european countries (e.g france, spain and portugal-guess where im heading next month!)

Good afternoon folks, The 2 foot window in my fibreglass roof is... leaking! Anybody know where i can get seals for a custom window? It says MAQUI N Peace and Cutler on the window if this helps.
