Thank you all, tried talking to him last night but he had too much beer and didn't want to talk about it! Will take some pictures and try and get some sense out of him when we both finish work.

We are baffled, we have put petrol in carb and had flames, it is all whirring around but just won't start up. I have read threads and threads but nothing seems to be similar to our problem.

Ummm we've been told we've no compression, not 100% sure, the engine is turning but not firing up. Angry and frustrated husband has downed his tools for the day.

Please can anyone help - we have a loose black wire with no connection behind the fuse box I have traced it to the fog light switch where does it connect? - is the black wire live or earth? Any help appreciated.

Our figure of eight doesn't hold tight onto the rail and we were told it was due to not having the rubber, I wouldn't take my word as gospel though.
