Re: Urgent help needed for a very sick van in shropshire

Hi all, Thanks for your replies so far. A local mechanic has kindly been to my house and looked at the old girl. His advice was that she sounds very sick indeed with no compression and some other mechanical jargon and instead of potentially spending over £1000 to strip it to find out that she's done...

Urgent help needed for a very sick van in shropshire

Hi all, My mechanical knowledge is zero. My '84 westy hightop has overheated badly, lost power and cut out. Smoke or steam everywhere with an awful smell . It turns out there was an split in a hose and no water was getting to the engine......and possibly oil (due to an oil leak). Now she will not st...

Re: High tops and low clearances

I still duck when going under ridiculously high overhead obstructions, that I have no chance of hitting. Even after driving my high top for 2 years. It's just become part of the fun..... And a timely reminder of how special she is !!!!

Original headlining & panels

Happy new year all :)) does anyone know where I could obtain some origional or replica headlining, either new or old, in a roll or on panels for my high top 1985 westfalia joker in a beige colour?????? I had to remove and replace the panel around the skylight, and the existing headlining is ruined.....

Hi, has anyone had experience in getting their hubs
Re chromed. I want to sort the chrome rims and hubs
On my 86 westy. I assume they are the origional ones.
Is it cheaper to buy new?? What us a good price for getting them

A little something special up top!!!

Hi all. Does anyone know if you can buy a small
Roof rack similar to the retro racks you see
On the front tops of T2s that will fit on the front top
Of my 86 westy high top. That means it would
Sit over the low part of the roof
At the top?
Thanks
Jase
