hi obviuosly i stripping a camper 1.9dg all plumbing wasn't gonna be done owt with so if you need anything just shout ya can have bits if it helps it got a new water pump, thermostat, metal water pipe good rad too but want few pennies for those bits its not an add just trying to help

i'm a self employer mechanic but can do various thing and love tinkering and making custom bits do you know of a vaggs from lincoln with type two bus with 23 windows as standard ...? i have his 2.1 Aircooled on the bench so those custom jobs are one of those things ya see at shows and think i did th...

yeah think same air lock or thermostat maybe sticking they can be a "pooh" to bleed up jack up high bleed on rad and upper thermo housing then take for a ride and repeat process should be ok

i done fair few sets yea if pitting isn't too bad slap it together with some selant either side its just water jacket the compression sleeves are recessed into the heads, word of warning tho when heads are off best to reseal both lower compression sleeves into the block or they may of moved and once...

my 1.9 dg engine was rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago but "pooh" gfs gasket kit the rubber head gasket bit failed one side lucky enough it didn't boil as i saw it on drive, so now stuck in catch 22 do i rebuild strip put new rubbers in and sell as is or do you think its worth polishing all...

see now i rate them although many don't and never had a problem with one and if you find an xr2i or xr3i in the scrapyard it'll cost you bugger all and buy a mounting flange 3 stud to 4 stud conversion off ebay at a tenner game on

hey just a thought for a compact light weight spare wheel, my friends new merc compact has the smallest spare ever and once inflated seems to unfold bigger and become a full working spare ... good for those who's spares in the boot??

reson most advise is tto swap is all the little bits that can go wrong and add your bill up etc if studs snap its a real real pain and to fix thats if they don't have to be drilled out.

look on ebay you can buy complete kits some are expensive like kit i bought but comes with all the kit to refurb and re-stain the leather, look for companies that do it might be cheaper than you think friend had two leather golf seats done at 180 quid came back like new and they replaced the bolster...

well to do the rings ya gotta remove head and then disturb the liners so they gotta be removed and resealed and push rod tubes too, gaskit kit alone is 90 quid then sealant oh engine out to do it pproperly, remove the piston pins which is a s**t at the best of times, like been said already snap the ...

lol well i made some bedroom units with my design in thought edges at 45 degrees so looks good from the layers etc once clear varnished looks great, reserve judgement and ya'll see lol
