5spd to 4spd??

Hi Chaps, we have a 1.9 DG WBX bus here with a bust 5spd box. Does anybody know what additional parts I would need to put a 4spd box in the van? ie selector, linkage etc?

The B5 Passat is on the same platform as the Audi A4/6 and lots of people are running those wheels on T3s. I have a feeling that the ET is slightly out so people use spacers on the front?????

Is it worth LPGing a 1.6CT??

As some people know I've got a few busses hanging around here at the moment including a 1981 Auto-Sleeper pop top which look rough but has a genuine 40,000 miles on it. As I've become more familliar with a wider variety of vehicles I've realised that I don't like my regular TD High Top and am consid...

Is there any way to tell if a gearbox is ok??

Hi, I've just bought a big pile of assorted spares for a T25 which included a "working fine when I took it out of the van" 5spd box for a 1.9WBX. Is there any way to check that it is ok before I get it put in to the van??

Starter motor! grrrr

I seem to be replacing starters on my 1.6TD as a bit of a hobby. At the moment i'm just getting a familiar click from the engine compartment when I try to start the van. Should I get a brand new starter or is ther a reliable way of getting the one I have fixed?????

Yours desparately
