Re: Hello - Brighton based looking for advice!
Barry has done my T25 for the last 5 years too. He's a chain smoking legend. Like shorehambeach said, he knows these vans really well. I had my MOT done last week and as I drove past him, he shouted 'that's not getting through' so I bet him 50p it would... £300.50 later I collected my certificate :(...

Re: Zig fuse holder
ah great thanks.
I was looking to match the other two which need a screwdriver/coin to unscrew them. These look more practical.

Re: Zig fuse holder
where do you get them for a quid? Might even treat myself to a spare.Oldiebut goodie wrote:You mean just the cap? Unlikely that you will get just that, at £1 each I would just buy the whole thing!
I mean the thing that holds the fuse that screws out.

Zig fuse holder
I've managed to lose the fuse holder for my zig cf8 unit. Its the screw in type.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement - ive searched but not turned up much - I just need the holder as opposed to the whole fuse unit.
Thanks

Worn suspension or is it normal
When the van is fairly empty, I feel every tiny bump on the road. Is that normal or should I be looking to do something with the shock absorbers?

IMG_20130228_105634.jpg Leisure shops closest is the LS200 Aperture size: 450 x 155mm which is pretty darn close. If I don't need the extra ventilation, I'd rather weld in a plate and just leave the smaller flue outlet on there. Thanks for the pic link - wondering where you sourced the stainless st...

Re: Fridge ventilation
So do you mean allow air to circulate around it but not block up the back?AdrianC wrote:There's still heat - that's how a fridge works - but no air or exhaust needed for gas combustion. So, yes, it'll need ventilation - but not so much as on gas.

Re: Fridge ventilation
Thanks for replies chaps.... As^^^^ says, in mine i have no vents and my ice box still freezes, but there is air circulation into the van so to speak, the gas is correctly flued out so all fine , So just the metal tube bit angled upwards is vented on yours? As you say, they're not exactly hermetical...

Fridge ventilation
If I don't power the fridge with gas and just use 12v/mains, does it still need ventilation to the outside? Its an old Electrolux RM123. There are 2 massive vent holes (can't find replacement cover to replace one that completely perished) and I'd rather they were sealed up. Would love a new Waeco on...

California Dreamin wrote:Ian.....you need to insert your ignition key and turn it to retract the steering lock paw...then the whole lot will tap upwards and give you access to the single pozi screw holding the ignition switch from underneath.

Cheers, that did it. Needed a bit of a thump to slide it off.
