Fitting a high top to a tin top

Hi folks, I have been Umming and Ahhing about fitting a pop-top or high top to my T25 which is currently a tin top. I've spend a fortune on the van including a full respray, engine, etc etc etc so I'm committed to keeping it! We use it for 10 day trips to UK and France and always come back with a cr...

Where did you get your opening 1/4 windows from faggie?
I see there are some on the bay of E for 150 squid and seem to remember seeing someone on here with some negative comments about them....?
Thanks

quarter light window seals - non opening

Hi folks,
Im after two non opening quarter light seals and no-one seems to have any.

Any ideas of a possible source?

I dont wanna refit them as there not in good condition and its quite expensive swapping to opening 1/4 lights.

Many thanks

Engine bay insulation

Evening all. I had my engine bay blast cleaned (no engine g/box etc fitted don't worry) and while I was stripping it out the insulation fell to pieces. I cant really find anything that looks that great. Ive seen a few old posts that say 'talk to steve at noise busters' and all I can find online is a...

Re: window fitting not going well.... help!

I went out today with a fresh outlook and a stonking hangover and its sorted. It took some fiddling and a few homemade tools to sort the seal around the corners and they still looked bad after the window was in but the sealing strip went in okay! My problem was my hole wasnt big enough and when i sa...

Re: window fitting not going well.... help!

THanks faggie im using the bits of seal to get the gap correct! Makes life easier.

What do you mean about caravelle rubbers and getting the rubbers off the roll??

Getting them to hold enough shape is the issue. Are the JK window seals designed for smaller radius windows?
