Sorry, I'm too boring...
stuck the old springs back on and used one of the rotted ally spring seats to chock up the broken side...
Anyway, bling is hard to find in these parts...

Syncro springs in a 2WD Panel van...
My 2WD (1.6D)van was looking a bit lopsided and I found one of the rear springs only had three coils left on it... As my syncro (1,6TD) is hanging around waiting for major repairs I put the springs on the panel van... With the 195/14 tyres off the syncro, now I really understand the "wedge"...

Heater core leaks...
Anyone got any bright ideas how to fix a very slight leak in the heater core... so small can't really tell where it's coming from, the base is just wet when I pump water through it... took it off as the cab kept filling up with steam half the winter... Even tried to buy a new one from a "rad-re...

Thanks, When you say mods on the wastegate actuator, do you mean reindexing or serious mods? I took the WGAct off anyway to get the exh. manifold off leaving the turbo attached and noticed that it's had a bit of a whack on the side of the flange? How do I test it? just pump it up and see if it holds...
