AAZ Manifold/Turbo confusion
Posted: 08 Feb 2012, 02:46
Morning chaps,
I'm in the middle of putting the AAZ in the van at the moment. However, as I bought the engine a good while ago, as a bare unit, and only having a CS at the moment, I've hit a stumbling block.
I've got two exhaust manifolds, both pictured.
1 seems to be the logical choice, as the Brickwerks oil feed lines up, so does the oil return. However, with this in place, I cant seem to get the pipe work for the Turbo-to-inlet anywhere near! I've got all the pipework from a JX apparantly?
Second manifold (2) puts the Turbo on top, but would foul the mount?
The turbo i've got is a Garrett K14, I was told this was the JX unit?
Finally, the pipe from the compressor housing to actuator, is a solid pre-formed on. Is it necessary to replace this to re-index the compressor housing to align with inlet?
The blower:
Any info would be a huge help!
Cheers
Chris
