Today I'm going to fit rear 3 point seatbelts to the camper. After 2 garages turned me down due to them not knowing the hows or wheres and legalities, I've had to look into it myself. I think I've armed myself with the relevant information now, so here goes. If all goes well, I'll post up pictures and instructions. I think it's a fairly common need for t25 owners with young families. My van is a converted panel van, and therefore does not have any factory provided mounts. This could end up a blessing, as I have a little lee-way on exact positioning of my anchor plates.

Have to be 3 point?

I'd certainly look at the http://www.securon.co.uk/fitting/extras/514fitting.htm securon 514 as it only has one hole to make. brickwerks do the reinforcing plate http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... d=seatbelt
its an add hole size for the bolt like 11mm or something.

Please come back with your results. I too am struggling to find a way to fit seatbelts!

This is my saga if any help...................

The older jk cataloges used to illustrate the mounting points, I had the nut/plates made and welded buy a pro on our first van. Stripped out van prepped area drove to him disconected battery, 25 squid later, an exellent job and welded all the way around the plates too. Try and find a steel fabrication place, take a drive around local industrial units,for the cost and quality and piece of mind it wasn't worth my messing and I knew my little ones wernt held in by my pidgeon Poo welding

Took me a few hours but no real problems, usual Brickwerks top quality.
3/4 width are difficult on the wardrobe side for 3 point ones.

I have ascertained that my van was originally a panel van and will not have per drilled holes. If I fit a rear 3 point on the opposite side to the units, do I need the small square plate welded into place? Also did the kit that you purchased have the metal plate included to attach the real to the recess in the side panel?

cant see your link, but if you follow ythe way I suggested dark poet does his, (link above) thern you dont need to be a welder, its madness to fit them on the inside and weld all round its also in my opinion not as strong,that said more than strong enough, just messy and I dont do or like messy...
