no I've not gone over to the oily side :rofl
but I've a customer coming over from the continent in 3 weeks time who needs a refurbished turbo fitting to his van and Brickwerks don't have any syncro cores (in fact they don't have many cores at all so if you have any dead KKK turbos sat in the shed then wing them off to Honley and earn brownie points/discount/Simon's undying gratitude ( ) )
please let me know if you can help in this matter
Thank You

cheers Andrew
068 145 701 QX (probably without the X if original) upto JX 120 601(April 1988 manufacture)
068 145 702 JX after that

068 145 701 QX is also listed for 2wd so I guess 702 J is the syncro specific one, I don't do diesel :)

ps VW showing the accelerator cable again so I've ordered it, backorder, may go obsolete again, will let you know

I have a recon jx turbo here if you are interested?

Saying that, it is probably 2wd drive as I didn't realise there was a difference.

The guy I bought it off said it had only been on for a few weeks. It looks new. I can send pics or post it to you if you want to have a look at it? If you don't want it just send it back with my gear box.

I have one fitted to my AAZ, that will no longer be needed. I payed for it new about 12 months ago. Dave/futbus could maybe send it up with my gearbox? Would obviously want some wedge for it.... :D

Next to nothing.
The wastegate actuator is very slightly different.
The wastegate is a wearing part, it contains a diaphragm albeit metal.
KKK as far as I am told no not make this part anymore, it was only fitted to the syncro.

because there is a chance the turbo may get dunked in the water, rather than the body of the actuator having a hole in it to breath to atmoshere the hole is blocked up and the actuator is vented through the adjusting screw, then a small bore pipe runs from the adjusting screw up to the left rear pillar, originally is was some red heatproof tube.
