Hi all,

Sorry if this isn't in the correct place.

Firstly I've got a 1982 LHD Westy Joker

I've been stripping my van down (with a lot of external help), we've got all the interior, the engine and most of the rot cut out.
However, there's a tank under the drivers side door and We're not sure what it is, can anyone tell me?

Fuel expansion tank - should be one on the other side. Have a look in the Wiki; I think there's some better pictures in there...

Thanks I'll have another read, must have missed it the first time.

I've not got one on the other side but my van has had a few extra bit and a few missing bits as we've gone along.

No, it's my drive. Still haven't decided what I'm going to do with it.

rusty old "pooh" brown westies all look the same with the rot chopped out

do these tanks hold any fuel at all? its just that i have a hole in mine and im debating wether to try and effect a repair or to buy another one.
