Sleeping layout

We have just bought a caravelle 78PS 1984 campervan and I don't know how to lay out the bed properly. One problem is the swivel seats are hard and the cushions are soft, so it is unlevel and uncomfortable. The other problem is, I don't think we have the correct boards to go down the middle of the 2 chairs to make the double bed. Sorry if this sounds confusing, but that is how I feel. This is our first time and I would appreciate any help.

why are you trying to make a bed using your front seats ? does it not have one in the back ?

take some pics, that would make it clearer. Most (not all) camping layouts have a double bed made out of the rear seat

Hi,
I'm in Coventry, so it's not near to you I'm afraid. If I can't get the pics uploaded, I will have to wait until I go to the vanfest in September and ask around. I'm a thicky when it comes to computors, face to face is better. x
