Any ideas what spec cable I should be using in my van?

I went to B&Q get some today and was baffled by the choice of ratings and some of the horrendous prices.What appeared to be labelled as suited to a caravan / motorhome was some 'Arctic' stuff (blue cable) at £35

I'm running an external hookup socket with a standard 63A RCD master and 16 and 6a trips.

Will a length of normal external hookup cable (the orange stuff) do?

Hook up cable with correct plug and socket 25 mtr 16a about 22-25quid
(arctic stuff ok stays flexible) I got a load of that yellow stuff that works temp traffic lights, its brilliant , use it for extention leads and all sorts,

I have my hookup cable from van to site - that's sorted.

Do you think I can use the length of cable from one of these?



We don't use it anymore having upgraded from tent to van.

Waste of a good cable, but in my most humble of opinions it would be 'wonderfull'
