:D I've cast my vote ( 2.5 ) not sure if its the right choice , is the 2.5 the hard to find quad cam ? I take it that all in the line-up will be four wheel drive ,

2.5 is quad cam I believe yes, pre 2000, uk model, made in japan, the 2.0 is a made in america UK model and the 2.2 a made in japan one, not sure of which market it was built for
I've got a partial history for the 2.5 which isn't bad, timing belt has been done on schedule at least and dealer service stamped book to end of book pages at 122k miles

:) looks as though the 2.5 will be a good choice then :) by any chance is the engine going into something that might resemble the item in the pic below :?:

Ahem! I think you'll find the 2.2 is something to do with me...what a fine example of the breed...huge service history...might be open to a respectable offer to save me taking it home and getting found out :rofl

any of them can go in a T25/T3 with some work and expense, check out RJES website for further information

there's a 1.9 DG sitting out of the van in Lincolnshire that could be parted with too if required, supposedly sub 80k miles, 1986 contact TMT for details and me for deal

The 25 votes were a great threat to SONK, so much so that I now have an mot certificate for it, the check engine light is coming up as lamda sensor open circuit, but it goes and stops and might as well earn a living hauling gearbox parts about for a bit before any surgery is carried out, give me time to fix RJES gearbox and get necessary knowledge, parts etc. together, and see if the engine really is ok

Cant wait to give it a test.....

Oh.. should we add the 2.2 will be available for a conversion.. or if nobody wants it, it will go in a "works" van.........
