Saab 95 seats

Has anyone fitted Saab 95 seats? I bought a pair off fleabay for next to nothing but seems that the runners are a much narrower (16.25 inches) than my existing (17.75 inches) installation? I was expecting them to be a little too wide as opposed to too narrow?

Have fitted similar in mine but Saab 9000 seats. No difference really so far as mounting goes. You need to run a bar from one side of the original seat mounts to the other, front and rear, then the Saab seat will sit on top and bolt through these. I used stainless rectangular box section for mine, about 35mm x 20mm. Used stainless as it's slightly stronger, won't rust and had some at the time but normal steel can be used also.
