Just curious...
How is the fuel metering / throttling done on the gas conversion ?
Don't worry, I ain't going to mess, I value my guarantee !!

and how does it work at cold temps, does it have an enrichment, "choke like" device in the system, mine ticks over very nice from stone cold, but the carbs have countless valves, heaters, chokes, sensors, solanoids etc to get smooth running at all temps and loads...
Insatiable curiosity...

Yeh very informative.... But
Steve's conversions start from cold on LPG just fine, contrary to what it says on there ?
I guess Gasure's install is newer / more advanced

yep - our two conversions start from cold - every day during winter. Many are surprised when I tell them this - seems to be believed that gas won't start from cold. Maybe not first turn (but is better on the gas than it was on petrol!), and I was recommended to turn key without starting, allow to gas, turn off, then start, by the installer. Brilliant starting .
Mine doesn't swtich automatically to petrol...it just slows down, and you switch to petrol using the selector in the front. Never done it though....haven't run out of gas in 6 months (musta bin pretty close, though...). Only reason I know is coz I have bin in hubby's van when she ran out of gas!

I'll ring you up, just when your under the ramp, holding a gearbox in place !!
No I wouldn't do that, I often think how annoying it must be for mechanics to get some numpty ringing up just at the wrong moment.

Wiki has this to say
"The system uses venturi's to allow the engine to "demand" gas from the vapouriser and is fed through the air tract of the vehicle and metered by the throttle flap."
