Ok the pictures are a bit much to ask :( the point i'm at is i can see where the servo pipe attaches into the inlet manifolds. the old carbs also had a pipe running between them which also had a vacuum pipe coming from the dizzy attached. the old carbs also had to attchments for these vacuum pipes coming from the dizzy. the new carbs have one less connection pipe. what do i do away with?

the rubber balance hose between the carbs and just attach the vacuum pipes up or do i forget about the vacuum pipes coming from the dizzy??

i was given two vacuum pipes with the carbs. nothing else :?:

Hi Lupo.
I dont specifically know the ict carbs but the theory will be the same.
You need to connect the brake servo pipe to the manifold.
The vac advance off the dizzy (the pipe on top of the mushroom bit) is attached to the carb and the vac retard (the bottom pipe) goes to the airbox. I run dellorto drlas and have no airbox so this is not attached.
I would also speak to your suppliers to make sure that they are jetted correctly for your engine size. I think I've read about running problems with them.

Cheers. so your saying the vacuum pipes from the dizzy are no longer needed. that would make sense. do you have to block off the holes in the dizzy for these pipes?

cheers kev

Understand what i'm doing now but still have loads of springs with no obvious place to put them :? there also doesn't appear to be anything to attach the throttle cable to the linkage bar :?: anyone got pics of these carbs set up in a van?

No, you need to attach the vac advance from the dizzy to the carb. The retard is left un-attached, its only for emissions on tick over.
Re-read what Globbits has already explained this to you on brick-yard.
