was nosing around on wikipedia and noticed this on the vwt25 engines section....

ugh? 7bhp difference between the 1600 and the 2.0L.. Surely thats wrong?!

You're not wrong Toolsntat... Just looked it up again and had edited original post!

1600s are all around 50bhp - same as they were on beetles although trying to push a thing the size of a bus, its probably more like 20bhp

As an aside, I knew a bloke who had a bay and was desperate for an engine and fitted a 1200!!! To say it took a while to build up speed is putting it mildly.
