But all being well I'll be on the 08:00 next Wednesday Morning with the massed syncro's.
Mark, I'm driving up to Dover stopover Tues (time not yet arranged as awaiting meet with my co-pilot), so we could convoy from Bristol. I'll call you Sat . evening when I have my Bristol departure time.
The second one has a large tent area which has electic, that might be the best bet.
Althought these are both just short of 4hrs from Dunkirk, and as Mammut Park is only 5hr45, we should perhaps be looking at an earlier stop.
What do those on the 8am ferry want to do? Do you want to keep going, stop at a proper campsite and pay around 20E or a cheaper service station style option on the road
Nobody wants to talk to me. I've sent out a few emails now to different sites all around the Duisburg area and got sod all back. Could be something to do with sending english emails to sites with only german websites???
Not long till were off so i will have a campsite proposed by the weekend, we will definately be stopping, It will then be up to the masses to deside what they want to do.
Life is like a roll of toilet paper
The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes...
Todays might Oak is just yesterdays nut which held its ground!
Alastair I shouldn't think that any of these campsites will be full at this time of year and mid-week - you'd probably be fine just turning up on spec.
The google map with route and stopover places have been updated - it includes the pitstop gargae 12 Vaarstraat 8630 Veurne,
We always diesel up here - I cannot recall if gas is available here though.

Diesel in Belgium is a nice cheap €1.15 .... its €1.23 here now.
what sort of amount are people thinking that they will be spending on fuel to get to and from the park once we have disenbarked from the ferry roughly? we are going in the camper 2.1 petrol, just trying to balence the books and work out how much money to bring with us etc.
Hi Neil,
We were working on minimum 20mpg for 650 miles on the continent,we hope [we will get 27mpg most of the time but just in case]so 180-200 euros for fuel + any outings will be extra and for me Ihave to add lead foot to my fuel bill whilst off roading, thats probably 100 euros extra for me!
we will be on petrol only, as neither of out vans on any thing else, it is on the list of things to do! so around about £200, good just got gona give the van the once over at the weekend and pack her, roll on wednesday.
