Hi,
my Electrolux fridge isnt working

I'd like to have a read of the manual before I attempt to remove it but annoyingly half of the sticker on the inside has been ripped off so theres' limitied info.
it says the prod number is 9267511
there's another number (something missing) m122b
I'm pretty sure it's a 3 way but not 100%
Anyone reconise these numbers?

Agreed, sounds like it's an RM122 fridge which are 2-way (i.e. 12v and gas) iirc. Manual here:

You may care to try making sure the van's really level and that there's 12v at the terminals and a gas supply and flue. The old 2 ways are more temperamental than the 3s (which are physically bigger so may not fit in your interior)

hi
I have an exlectrolux 3way fridge it stop freezing on all 3 settings, got somebody to check it and all they done was take the fridge out and gave it a good shake, seems they are some liqued in them and it tends to settle after a while, it is working well now save me a cost of a new fridge.

wow - pretty useful replies - thanks everyone
thanks Tony for tip off about it being a 2-way.
Ian, The gas supply seems to be connected - i move the valve to 'on' next to cooker valve, i can see the ignition spark but, even after waiting half hour or so, the fridge seems no cooler. no smell of gas escaping or anything. i dont think it's connected to the battery at the moment.
perhaps it just needs a good old shake and a check of connections as fluffy advises.
so, if it's a 12v 2 way does that mean it runs from main battery or leisure battery? I dont have a leisure battery at the moment!

You've got the valve on the gas bottle regulator open as well? Whereabouts in the country are you? There might be someone nearby who can help.

Depends how it has been wired-up. Should be connected to a split charging circuit so that when you're driving along the alternator supplies the fridge with 12v and charges the leisure battery and the main battery. Don't have your fridge set to 12v if the engine isn't running 'cos it'll soon drain the battery.

Hi Tony,
thanks again - i'm in Islington, London.
I'll have a closer look at it again at the weekend - gas was definitely open but worth a closer look before i embark on taking the whole thing out!
