Curb weight of single cab pickup

Have been looking at some new wheels/tyres and reading up on tyre load index on here - I have a single cab pickup that I use for carrying volume rather than weight. I know the lowest index for tyres should be 97 so I just wondered if anyone knows the difference in unladen weight between my sort of van and a "normal" T25 - not that there is such a thing. I can get some great 205/55/16's with 94 rating, which is 2680kg gross for the vehicle. Has anyone ever weighed an empty single cab pickup?? If so, what's the curb weight please? I would guess it was lighter, as it's clearly missing quite a few bits (such as a roof and sides
) Anyone any ideas...

Thanks for this bob. All things in this document seem to suggest that the unladen weight of vans is 1500kg with a payload of about 1000kg so gross of 2500kg, comprised of max axle weight of 1200 Front and 1300 Rear. I wouldn't want to push anywhere near the limits, but this does suggest that load index of 94 (670kg per tyre) would still cover the weight even on rear axle. Tyre index 97 provide 730kg per tyre - 2920kg if my maths is right - so is this just a big contingency/safety factor or is there still something I'm missing. Any help would be very appreciated.

van requires 2500 / 4 =625kg per tyre, so yes 670KG per tyre would do you. I usually buy C or commercial rated tyres. ie 184XR14C made for putting on vans. People seem to use car tyres with a high enough rating though so gofigure as they say.

Kerb weight fairly dry of my Doka was 1780 KG I seem to remember, no loadbed cover.
Single cab will be very similar. The roof missing might be made up by the
load-bed and the drop sides (which are remarkably light fabricated (fabulous) steel structures IMHO)
However, PC52 weighed his Doka the other day with an adult and 14 year old in it at 2250 Kg I believe. This has a hardtop cover, electric winch and 3 batteries in total as well as power steering rack. 4 door, more insulation and trim than mine etc. Also large discs all round, and larger wheels/tyres than standard.
Their rated load is 3/4 tonne, 750KG, not sure for your singlecab, but for light loads I'd use a figure of 2 tonnes for nominal AUW.
