kind of a syncro question but a tec one at the same time

could any of you fine chaps shed some light on this for me please https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34880 do any of you have them in your syncros? can you tell me the operational details on such a thing?

got a webasto in mine and basicly you can set a timer to ignite the heater. as far as i can work out it will run for 1 hour and you can set it for twice a day ie morning before work and night after work.

with mine you set the heater lever in the cab to hot and the fan to 1 then set the timer on the webasto.

once the coolant has reached the desired temp the cab heater kicks in and defrosts the screen,warms the cab and when you get in the engine is already warm so no cold starting or running on choke.

As lee said, but ours has a relay that kicks the rear matrix fan into life once its up to temp regardles of ignition key, thus serving as a night heater. However it does take more power than a blown air unit,because it has burner fan,circulation pump and rear fan, but is fantastic for cold engine starts,demisting etc.
