Hi there to any one who can help me put some comfy seats in my T25, 1988 vintage , seats are tired and i"m sure i can fit some nice replacements.

Only seats that fit straight in are caravelle or another T25.

however if your willing to fiddle, cut and weld...there are loads

fella by me can refurbish and recover (£250)

I've got Ford Sierra seats in mine and there is a guide kicking about on how to fit Sabb seats in.

Welcome to the forum.
As Kev says really...mightily expensive for the top of the range arm rest VW ones. £200 plus.
Have seen Rover, MG, Granada, Jeep all fitted. But all need some mods. Look for a seat with a low flat rail and if you have a swivel base, not too long. Otherwise will catch the door when turning.
Saab seats are very comfy IMHO but also need a bit of modifying. Have a butchers here.

oh yes... welding for dummies....

ahh just noticed you're in Worcester.. you're 3/4 hour from me and I put mine in using an arc welder!! I've now got a good MIG setup so get yerself some seats with a low rail and i'll weld them for ya.

I bought some velour Saab 95 seats off ebay for £14.99, fitted them last weekend, no welding involved, all you need is long fingers to get the nuts on underneath!

i just 'won' some 2001 9-5 seats from ebay - do they not need the runners re-positioning as with the 9000 seats then? that would be a nice bonus!

I've been finishing off fitting these today.

They're out of an MG (Rover200), bought for £25 then took em round me mums who helped me re cover them. Well I took them apart and she did the sewing.
The MG brackets were drilled off and then the runners bolted directly onto the van seat box. (after removing the VW runners) Very comfy and still load of head room for me even at 6'3".

Saab Leathers out of a 9000 are going in mine tomorrow.... mmm comfy!!!

the std 'pilot' type caravelle seats with the folding armrests, which go for ridiculous money on e-bay, in my opinion, are very over rated, and are not actually that comfy, unless you're a short4rse, i know because my carat has them in as std. at 5ft11, i find the armrests too low, (although the better models were adjustable) a bulge on the seats at the top of my back uncomfortable, and the headrest positions not too good, the audi seats pictured here look a good bet, tho.

Im in the process of fitting electric leather seats from a Granada Scorpio in mine. Nice flat base and a seperate subframe should make fitting easier. Nearly the same width base as original Caravelle seats. Going to fit them onto hame turned spacers to clear the original vw runners. If too high then will have to remove the original runners from seat boxes. lots of spot weld drilling out then !!!
