1. Temperature gauge not working. Would it most likely be the temperature sender?
2. Gives out hot air, but the blower doesn't work.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Temperature gauge sender is on the thermostat housing, cable TO it should be colour coded Yellow/Red, if you disconnect this cable and earth it with the ignition on, the temperature gauge should read full scale (HOT) If gauge does not react, check wiring especially at the 14 pin plug where it connects to the flexy printed circuit at the dash.
Heater motor is fuse S13 20A fed from circuit X. The earth is at the cluster of earths near the fuse box, they call it a crown or star or something.
If the bearing(s) have seized, then to lubricate them or change the motor is what a Scandinavian friend of mine used to call '
A big Yob'. Look here

Blame Haynes (not me!) if info is wrong!!

my heater motor didn't work when i got the van.
not that big a prob to strip dash out
turned out that the carbon brushes were stuck just a drop of wd40 and a bit of a fiddle bingo working heater. no expense just a bit of time.
good luck
