Hi
Are you still in the respray business. I have a couple of vans that could do with some work. Possibly not a full respray, but I'd be open to a professional opinion of what needs doing and how best to do it. I can email you pics of the areas needing attention and or I can come visit you with the van. How far up the A34 are you? How far from junction with the M4?

I think we're talking to someone thats not on the forum anymore...
Personally, i reckon for a job thats very well done, and you aint going to get rust for two years - a grand.
I reckon i might be a little optimistic with the rust...

With any bodywork "issues" you can double that grand

indeed Westy
but it is not impossible to retard rust so that it's not so much an issue for a fair price.
I tend to think that if the sprayer has any "VW" thing going on then the bill goes up.
I found some lads that did me a job for under a grand...not perfect by any means, but it was all I could afford realistically on an old van.
and that to me is the nub of it ...a realistic price for your means
three years on the rust is beginning to show it's cancerous head.
If I hadn't had it done though.. I often wonder what sort of state it would be in now
